When the weather heats up, refreshing drinks are the perfect way to stay cool. The ideal summer cocktail is refreshing, colorful, and filled with flavor. Gather your tools and mix up one of the best summertime cocktails below to get in the summer spirit.
Jalapeño Margarita (Crafted by Manny Hinojosa, Tequila Cazadores Global Brand Ambassador)
- 1 ½ part Tequila Cazadores Blanco
- ½ part Premium Triple Sec
- ½ part Agave Nectar
- 1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 Slice of Jalapeño
In a cocktail shaker with ice mix all the ingredients, shake and serve over the rocks in a glass. Garnish with lime, jalapeno slice and salt optional.
High Roller Margarita (Crafted by Manny Hinojosa, Tequila Cazadores Global Brand Ambassador)
- 1 ½ oz. Tequila Cazadores Extra Añejo
- ¾ oz. Grand Marnier
- ¾ oz. Agave Nectar
- 3 Lime Wedges muddled
- 3 Lemon Wedges muddled
- 1 Lemon Wedge muddled
In a mixing glass muddle limes, lemons and orange slices, add the rest of the ingredients with ice, shake vigorously and serve up in a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime wheel and orange peel.
PATRÓN Perfect Paloma
- 1.5 oz Patrón Reposado
- 3 oz Fresh grapefruit juice
- .5 oz Agave syrup (1:1)
- .5 oz Fresh-squeezed lime juice
- 1 oz Sparkling water
- + Sugar and salt for rimming
- + Grapefruit wedge for garnish
Combine all ingredients except sparkling water in a shaker tin and shake with ice to chill. Strain onto fresh ice in a sugar and salt-rimmed collins glass. Top with sparkling water and garnish with a grapefruit wedge. This is a perfect cocktail to enjoy on World Paloma Day which is coming up on May 22.
The Americano
- 1 part (1 oz) Campari
- 1 part (1 oz) Cinzano 1757 Rosso Vermouth di Torino
- Splash of soda water
Pour the ingredients directly in an old-fashioned glass filled with ice cubes, add a splash of soda water and garnish with an orange slice and lemon peel.
NOLET’S Berry Independent Punch
- 1 1/2 cups NOLET’S Silver Gin
- 1/2 cup Chambord Liqueur
- 1/2 cup Maraschino Cherry Liqueur
- 2 1/2 cups Lemonade
- 1/4-1/2 cup Simple Syrup
- 1 cup Blackberries or Blueberries
- 1 cup Strawberries
- 1 cup Raspberries
Puree fruit in a blender and strain out solids or juice fresh berries in a juicer. Mix berry juice with NOLET’S Silver Gin, Chambord, and Maraschino Liqueur with lemonade in a large pitcher or punchbowl. Taste for sweetness and adjust with simple syrup as needed. Add ice to the mixture, and serve over ice with fruit or floral garnish in a rocks glass.
NOLET’S Silver Cherry Smash
- 1.5 oz. NOLET’S Silver Gin
- 5-6 Muddled Cherries + More for Garnish
- 0.5 oz. Lime Juice
- 2 oz. Coconut Water
- 0.25 oz. Simple Syrup (optional)
- Jalapeno Slices and a Dash of Salt for Garnish
Muddle cherries with lime juice in a cocktail shaker. Add coconut water and simple syrup (if coconut water isn’t sweet enough) and shake with ice. Pour over ice in a highball glass and garnish with a cherry, jalapeno and a dash of salt.
Old Fashioned
- 2 oz. Argonaut Speculator Brandy
- ¼ oz. Simple Syrup
- 2-3 dashes of Aromatic Bitters
- Expressed Orange peel w/ an Argonaut Brandied Cherry
Add ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice and stir together to combine/chill. Strain into a double old-fashioned rocks glass filled with rock ice. Express the oils of an orange peel over the glass, rubbing the peel around the rim. Add peel into the cocktail along with a brandy cherry.
The Honeypot (Created by Erik Delanoy, Bartender)
- 2.0 oz The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old
- 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/2 oz Murray’s Chestnut Honey
- 1 Dash Angostura Bitters
Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker, add ice, shake until chilled, strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
Hazelnut Espresso Martini
- 0.5 parts Frangelico
- 1.5 part SKYY Vodka
- 1.5 parts Cold Brew Concentrate or Espresso
- 0.25 parts Simple Syrup (1:1)
Combine all ingredients in shaker tin with fresh ice, shake vigorously until chilled. Strain into chilled coupe or martini glass, & garnish with (3) whole coffee beans.
Franny and Joe (Recipe by Otis Florence)
- 1 ½ Parts Frangelico
- 1 ½ Parts Cold Brew Coffee
- ½ Parts Simple Syrup
- 2 Dashes of Bitters
Add all ingredients to a stirring glass. Stir. Pour contents into a coupe glass. Garnish with an expressed orange peel OR add all ingredients to a stirring glass. Stir. Pour contents over ice in a stemless wine glass. Add creamer as desired.
Chocolate Cake shot
- 1 Part Frangelico
- 1 Part SKYY Vodka Infusions Citrus
Shake with ice and strain into a shot glass. Chase with a sugar-coated lemon wedge
