Global Motorsports Group (GMG) collaborates with an industry leader in carbon fiber aerodynamic parts, ECU calibration, and high-performance automotive solutions, 1016 Industries, on the new $250,000 carbon fiber GT3 RS. Now available from car enthusiast and collector Harrison Woodruff, the GMG GT3 RS is a custom Porsche designed as the ultimate rally car with more power in an even lighter carbon fiber race-ready ride.
An exclusive Gintani engine tune of the new custom GT3 RS rally car increases its output to more than 580 horsepower. GMG also modified the original vehicle’s engine block with straight piped headers to enhance its efficiency. A sleek rear wing and front splitter by Dundon Motorsports were addeded to provide added on-road stability for sharper handling.
The one-of-a-kind carbon fiber car is also highlighted by GMG headers and a specially designed mid-pipe that improves exhaust output. The factory mufflers were removed to boost the car’s overall power. Exclusive GMG race mirrors and a custom roll cage are also part of the GT3 RS design. Other rally-related upgrade includes a custom radar and scanner from Uniden on board along with an underglow lighting system from LEDGlow in matching green for added visibility.
1016 Industries assisted in the design of vehicle through their Porsche division 9 Design. To further reduce overall vehicle weight, the firm integrated custom carbon fiber work throughout the GT3 RS front and rear bumpers, and hood. 1016 Industries also engineered intricately webbed bespoke wheels made for this special high-performance rally machine.
The exterior of the new GMG X 1016 Industries GT3 RS features 3M’s brilliant grass green paint scheme. The lizard green interior is available from the OEM. This car is also highlighted by matching green brake calipers.
