Gucci presents a special capsule collection dedicated to the Year of the Rabbit. Playful and refined iterations of the rabbit are featured in a campaign captured by Max Siedentopf, that anticipates Spring’s arrival.
In the campaign, a cast of characters searches for rabbits in the forest. The protagonists find themselves in a fantastical field of flowers where petals flutter all around and rabbits hop about. Models look up to the sunrise that heralds the dawn of a new year.
Within this festive setting, Gucci’s special capsule collection dedicated to the Year of the Rabbit comes to the fore. A fanciful use of color, print, and embellishment defines the wide-ranging wardrobe. The women’s range includes a curated selection of printed silk blouses and skirts, along with boldly geometric pieces in contrasting hues and special renditions of Gucci signature handbags. The men’s selection spotlights playful graphic patterns in sporty silhouettes, as shoes are garnished with ear-like bows and fleece. Gucci’s newest collection also includes the children’s line that channels mini versions of adults’ styles through the rabbit’s whimsical and dynamic spirit of the collection.
All items from the collection will be delivered in special packaging with a design dedicated to the Year of The Rabbit. Customers are also encouraged to send a personalized greeting card using the curated selection of illustrations and colors, including a special rabbit design made for this special occasion. Once they have created their combination, they can download the card to print or share digitally.
