A flat aviator sunglasses with double bridge embellished by the interlocking G detail, a lineup of new 80’s shades in transparent fluo tones and vibrant hues, wide round and aviator shapes in shiny colors and many others appear in Gucci Spring Summer 2018 Eyewear Campaign. Shot in Los Angeles, the new advertising video features actress Ni Ni walking the sunny boardwalk of Venice Beach, wearing rounded shades crafted with a pearl effect detail at the tips and interlocking G.
Evoking a vintage 80s mood, Gucci Spring Summer 2018 Eyewear campaign was shot by photographer Zoe Ghertner. The sunglasses arrive in a velvet hard case available in a range of six jewel-toned colors and paired with a coordinating satin lining. The case color selection will be individually selected for each pair of glasses and comes with a matching satin flannel pouch and ivory microfiber cloth.
Also make appearance are the eighties influenced $305 specialized fit round-frame acetate sunglasses and vibrant rectangular shape glasses. The $510 square-frame gold metal and black acetate frame sunglasses are refined with matching temples with dark tortoiseshell acetate tips.
We can’t but mention that Alessandro Michele draws inspiration from his friend, British star Sir Elton John for Spring Summer 2018 collection. Therefore, Gucci eyewear for the summer is all about the music idol, with quirky shapes and colored lenses, of quasi-futuristic inspirations. Among the boldest are the $1,380 rectangular-frame acetate sunglasses with crystals. These glasses are part of the Hollywood Forever collection and their transparent fluorescent orange frame and temples are adorned with hand-applied crystals and gold-toned studs. There’s also the $690 version that comes with ivory acetate frame and red teardrop detail enriched with a crystal.
