Celebrating the Year of the Tiger, Gucci presents Gucci Tiger. Rich with significance for the House, the animal represents the Creative Director Alessandro Michele’s fascination with the beauty of nature.
A selection of ready-to-wear and accessories adorned with various versions of the tiger appear in a campaign shot by Angelo Pennetta. A third-party animal welfare organization, American Humane, monitored the set on which animals were present and verified that no animals were harmed. Tigers were filmed in a separate safe environment and then featured within the campaign.

Gucci Tiger collection includes ready-to-wear and accessories from T-shirts and sweaters to a new take on the classic Rhyton and Ace sneakers. Some pieces feature a tiger depicted against a backdrop of colorful greenery and flowers, a reimagination of an archival design by Vittorio Accornero, the prominent artist, and illustrator. Other items are decorated with a contemporary version of the animal which is combined with the collection’s logo print, forming a connection between the House’s past and present.
References to the feline are often seen throughout the Creative Director’s collections as an expression of the House’s fascination with the wild beauty of the natural world. The collection’s off-white sweatshirt pairs a playful jumping tiger with the Interlocking G. Another sweatshirt is defined by tiger stripes and an embroidered patch with the word ‘Gucci Tiger.’ The pair of Ace sneakers and Rhyton sneakers are characterized by the printed motto ‘Gucci Tiger.’
The collection’s pieces can be packaged in gift boxes, shopping bags, envelopes, packaging bags of different shapes and sizes, all decorated with Gucci Tiger floral patterns. In order to implement Gucci’s vision of sustainable development, all shopping bags are made using sustainable paper. The rope is crafted of 100% recycled polyester fiber and tied to the bag in a knotted manner to avoid the use of glue. Finally, all ribbons are made from 100% organic cotton.
