From October 16 to November 30, 2023, and returning after the festive season on January 8, 2024, guests can experience the epitome of luxury through an exclusive ORCHIDÉE IMPÉRIALE themed Afternoon Tea at the Almada Negreiros lounge.
Inspired by the regality of the orchid, the queen of the plant kingdom, Executive Pastry Chef Diogo Lopes has crafted an unparalleled afternoon tea, marking a first-of-its-kind culinary experience in Lisbon.
Nestled in the opulent Almada Negreiros lounge, guests will be surrounded by the ethereal beauty of a stunning white orchid installation. The ambiance provides the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of indulgence, marrying beauty and culinary delights.
The carefully curated menu features a harmonious blend of savories and sweets, meticulously designed by Executive Chef Pascal Meynard. From smoked salmon with gold and bergamot gel to foie gras, cereal, and ginja, the savory selection is a testament to culinary artistry.
For those with a sweet tooth, the traditional freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam offer a classic touch. The caramel, banana, and chocolate cremeaux blueberry tart, honey and lemon sphere with dry flowers yuzu choux, and the lavender and hibiscus macaron promise an indulgent symphony of flavors.
Vegetarian options are also available, including a delightful assortment of dishes such as tartlet with hummus, beetroot, borage, and lemon, transparent chips with smoked eggplant and yuzu, Tagete Macaron with hokkaido, truffle, and kalamansi, and more.
Priced at EUR 58 per person, the afternoon tea experience includes a flute of Champagne and a hot drink (tea or coffee).
