In January 2020, H. Moser & Cie. conducted a virtual launch for the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph, just before the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the unique circumstances, the launch was highly successful. The distinctive cushion-shaped case and integrated bracelet received positive feedback, along with the exceptional automatic movement developed by Agenhor, a partner of H. Moser & Cie. The Streamliner became a catalyst for the brand’s progress, accelerating its development. Initially, 100 limited edition pieces of the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic were released and sold out in a few days. Subsequently, H. Moser & Cie. introduced a three-hand model and a chronograph with a Funky Blue fumé dial in the Streamliner collection. In 2021, the brand unveiled the renowned perpetual calendar in the Streamliner case, followed by the flying tourbillon with double hairspring in 2022. This year, the Schaffhausen-based manufacture presents the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic version 2.0.
The Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic Funky Blue 2.0 model represents a remarkable advancement from H. Moser & Cie.’s initial chronographs, incorporating the same exceptional qualities while introducing updated elements that reflect the brand’s DNA. Notably, the Funky Blue fumé dial showcases a transparent lacquer logo, serving as a discreet yet significant reminder of the product’s prominence. H. Moser & Cie. continues to maintain its reputation for minimalism, refined elegance, and understated luxury, placing the brand in the background while its creations take center stage.
The Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic Funky Blue 2.0 retains its impressive range of aesthetic features and functions. It remains water-resistant up to 12 ATM, ensuring its reliability both on land and underwater. The chronograph function remains unchanged, offering versatile timekeeping capabilities. Designed as a true work of art, the timepiece boasts a case with harmonious proportions and sleek aerodynamics, seamlessly flowing into its integrated steel bracelet.
On the movement side, this automatic chronograph features a central display and flyback function for the minutes and seconds. It is equipped with one of the finest chronograph calibers ever crafted, developed by AGENHOR, a trusted partner of H. Moser & Cie. This caliber prioritizes minimalism and legibility, showcasing a contemporary finish through the sapphire case-back. The calibre HMC 907 exhibits the traditional Moser stripes, angled at 45°, and sports anthracite grey rhodium-plating on the bridges and main plate. Notably, the oscillating weight has been strategically positioned between the movement and the dial, allowing enthusiasts to admire the chronograph’s operation and column wheel.
