English singer, songwriter and actor Harry Styles, who famously rose to stardom as a member of the boy band One Direction, appears in Gucci’s new men’s Tailoring campaign. Wearing the House’s suiting designed by Alessandro Michele for Fall Winter 2018, the star is photographed in a ‘chippy’ – the traditional British fish and chip shop—with a chicken and a dog. In a sequence shot by Glen Luchford and art directed by Christopher Simmonds, Harry Styles poses wearing a wool mohair jacket with embroidered collar and a striped suit styled with a gingham dressing gown.
The famed song ‘Michelle, performed by Blac Rabbit and written by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, plays as a soundtrack to the new Gucci Tailoring video campaign featuring Harry Styles in Alessandro Michele’s latest sartorial designs.

Alessandro Michele has pushed the established notions of tailoring and enhanced them with diverse fits, fabrics and codes. Each piece possesses a sense of distinct exclusivity in a range of shapes and styles.

Tailoring silhouettes transcend formal restrictions in houndstooth wool with ankle length cuffs for a more collegiate perspective. The preppy influence, a style that can be traced back to the Ivy League schools in the Northeast United States, continues to characterize the Gucci narrative. The bee-a recognizable symbol since the 70s, decorates the suits and adds a subtle touch of character to a check wool fabric.
