Hennessy inaugurated a new retail space at Paris landmark department store La Samaritaine to showcase the brand’s prestigious and rare cognacs and a new customization service. Located on the third floor, the new Hennessy corner draws inspiration from the Maison’s savoir-faire. Its curved, airy lines of display recall the oak staves worked by the cooper craftsmen.
Customers have an opportunity to try a new customization service and order a dedicated leather case specifically designed for the Hennessy Paradis magnum. An exclusive skin precisely wraps the curves of the bottle, just like the staves giving shape to barrels used for blending cognac. Entirely sheathed in braided leather, the design reveals the cognac in its decanter. The leather cover is made by French artisanal tanneries.
The art of calligraphy is taken up again with the Hennessy Hands workshop, allowing decanters to be personalized with a customized engraving. Customers can have their initials engraved on a Hennessy X.O or Hennessy Paradis bottle. The workshop also offers the possibility of selecting a leather clip accessory that harmoniously wraps around the neck of the decanters, available in various colors.
