Himalaya 4×4, a world-renowned restorer of vintage Land Rovers, announced an exciting partnership with Vintage Electric, a leading North American company known for producing powerful throttle bikes. Together, they have launched a new limited-edition line of electric bikes that draw inspiration from Land Rover’s iconic Series trucks. Himalaya introduces the new Himalaya 4×4 Special Edition Vintage Electric bikes as accessories to complement their commissions. These bikes come with dual sport features and are adorned with matching paint and other details that perfectly synchronize with each unique Himalaya 4×4 design.
The Himalaya 4×4 Special Edition Vintage Electric bike boasts a potent 72-volt electric power plant sourced from the company’s new Performance Line. The bike features sleek, flowing frame lines inspired by classic board track racers, and is customized to tackle hill climbs and mountain roads with three times the torque of its previous models. Equipped with a 4,000-watt drive train, the bike can achieve a remarkable top speed of 40 mph, making it the perfect choice for those seeking an exhilarating and high-performance ride.
The Himalaya x Vintage Electric bike is truly one-of-a-kind. Its hydroformed aluminum frame is not only lightweight and sturdy, but also custom painted to match the exterior of each Series truck it’s paired with. The attention to detail is unmatched, with even the dual density saddle and grips swathed in the same interior material as the truck.
To add to its exclusivity, each bike features the Himalaya Series badging, further highlighting its unique heritage. And when it comes to transporting the bike, a Saris 2 bike rack has been engineered specifically to make it easy to store and transport this two-wheel accessory.
The special edition bike is equipped with Maxxis tires that offer durability and exceptional performance on all terrains. The thumb throttle provides on-demand acceleration, and riders can choose from five different power modes to customize their riding experience. One of the bike’s most impressive features is the Scrambler’s powerful regenerative hydraulic disc brakes. Not only do they offer amazing stopping power, but they also return energy to the battery, extending the bike’s range even further. Vintage Electric has also engineered the battery pack to recharge in just three hours, making it one of the fastest-charging e-bike batteries on the market. With an industry-leading range of up to 75 miles per charge, riders can explore the great outdoors without worrying about running out of power.
The first Series build of the Himalaya 4×4, which incorporates the stunning Vintage Electric bike, is a true masterpiece. The Series IIA boasts a powerful 300-horsepower GM V6 engine paired with a 6L80-E transmission, delivering impressive performance on and off-road. The elegant powder blue custom truck sits on a coil-sprung chassis and features a bespoke modern Fox suspension that ensures drivers can conquer any terrain with ease. Designed for adventurers, this truck features a custom roof and roof rack that allows for quick and easy transportation of large cargo. The result is a more nimble rig that’s perfect for exploring city streets, beaches, and tropical vistas. To create a truly luxurious interior, the restorer of vintage Land Rovers spent hundreds of hours restoring the Series IIA truck’s interior, which is now outfitted in high-grade chestnut leather. An Alpine sound system with Bluetooth connectivity has also been integrated into the truck, ensuring an enjoyable ride wherever you go.
