When it came to building their dream yacht, the owners of Issimo knew they wanted a vessel that offered both space and volume. The FD Series design by Horizon Yachts provided the perfect foundation, and they chose a mid-size FD model for its layout and length. Every aspect of the yacht was meticulously planned, and the owners’ Italian heritage played a significant role in its creation.
Issimo, the chosen name for this custom FD Series yacht, holds special significance. In Italian, the suffix “Issimo” is an intensifier that enhances the meaning of a word, making it remarkable. It’s a testament to the owners’ desire for a yacht that stands out from the crowd, embodying elegance and uniqueness.
As you step on board Issimo, you’re greeted by a warm and sophisticated salon that exudes a sense of timeless beauty. The owners carefully selected walnut grey wood tones and Mid-Century modern furniture to create a refined ambiance. Sliding glass doors lead to the aft deck, where a relaxing lounging space and a liquor and glassware cabinet await.
A low built-in china cabinet separates the salon from the dining area, which features a fixed table capable of seating ten guests. Just aft of the spacious galley, the dining area is perfectly positioned to enjoy delicious meals prepared in the well-equipped galley. Complete with full-size refrigerator/freezers, a pull-out coffee station, and ample counter and storage space, the galley is a haven for culinary enthusiasts.
One of the highlights of the FD Series is the full-beam master stateroom, located forward on the main deck. Natural light floods in through large windows and an overhead skylight, accentuating the elegance of the space. The master suite boasts a raised workstation and a comfortable chaise lounge, providing a sanctuary for relaxation. The ensuite includes dual wash basins, a WC closet, and a shower room, offering a perfect balance of comfort and luxury.
The lower deck of Issimo accommodates three spacious VIP cabins with mirrored en suites positioned amidships. An additional forward VIP cabin adds to the yacht’s lavishness. To cater to the owners’ specific needs, a bespoke combined laundry and storage room was incorporated, complete with equipment and pull-out refrigeration.
Issimo’s design extends beyond the interior, offering an array of entertainment and relaxation options. The Skyline configuration includes a wheelhouse with three helm chairs, a seating/dining area in the enclosed section of the bridge deck, and a boat deck with a full bar, L-shaped seating, and a large Jacuzzi tub featuring a backlit waterfall.
The aft portion of the boat deck provides ample space for freestanding lounge chairs or tender stowage, accompanied by a davit for easy access. Additionally, the foredeck features a refrigeration area, storage, and a spacious seating and lounging area. Every inch of Issimo is designed with entertainment and comfort in mind, ensuring memorable experiences at sea.
Following her debut at the prestigious 2023 Palm Beach International Boat Show, Issimo and her owners embarked on a grand adventure. Their travels include destinations such as Florida, The Bahamas, and the Northeast, offering an opportunity to explore breathtaking coastal vistas while enjoying the unparalleled luxury of their custom-built yacht.
