This spring, Bergman Design House will debut The Lund Collection, a new private cottage in the Cotswolds, in south-central England. It is the first property to be designed, owned, and operated by the award-winning studio founded by Marie Soliman and Albin Berglund. For this one-bedroom retreat located near Chipping Norton and Great Tew, the husband-and-wife design duo has personally chosen original art pieces and created stunning interiors.

The property draws inspiration from the beauty of the Cotswolds and features a color palette that reflects all four seasons, from the rich green to the russet-oranges. The furniture and textile were created by artisans in the UK, including Upholstory, Robert Kime, Tori Murphy, and de Le Cuona.

The Lund Collection features vintage pieces like 17th-century Chinese ceramics or an 18th-century marriage armoire that was transformed into a beautiful drinks cabinet, as well as new bespoke furniture from the studio’s Black Berg Collection and luxurious deep-soaking bathtub.

With The Lund Collection, Bergman Design House opens a new line of luxury individual accommodations in the UK that provide the utmost laidback luxury living. Guests will stay in a beautiful and cozy cottage and will enjoy a fully stocked bar, hand-curated welcome hamper, and a state-of-the-art Swedish Moccamaster coffee machine.

Marie Soliman and Albin Berglund hope that the new property will be a haven for guests who are looking for an escape in the countryside. “We fell in love with this cottage and the absolutely stunning countryside. We are so thrilled to share it with our guests. It is intended to be a sanctuary for all who visit – we want our guests to come here and truly switch off, connect with nature and feel at home,” said Marie.

Nightly rates at The Lund Collection start from £595 (around $800) per night including a welcome hamper with wines personally curated by Albin Berglund.
