LeFrak’s Revetment House project in Jersey City announced that it is 90 percent leased today after only five months on the market. Located in the idyllic, tree-lined Hamilton Park neighborhood, the 163-unit building is also 70 percent occupied. The combination of chic industrial design and sparkling new amenities appealed to renters in the area, as did its location in the charming neighborhood of Hamilton Park.
Revetment House is a modern building whose aesthetic is inspired by its historic location atop a former railroad embankment once operated by the Pennsylvania Railroad. The building features spacious studio to three-bedroom residences that are designed with open-floor-plan kitchens and modern finishes. Every residence boasts its own in-unit washer-dryer, Whirlpool appliances, and contemporary finishes like white subway tiles and oak flooring.
Residents of Revetment House enjoy access to the building’s curated selection of premium amenities – many of which are now complete, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, residents’ lounge, part-time doorman, business center and bicycle storage. The project will also feature incredible outdoor amenities as well, such as a landscaped deck with BBQ area, a dog run and a playground. On-site parking is available to lease, and the building is conveniently located near the Holland Tunnel. The Newport PATH and Light Rail stations are nearby, and Revetment House will provide free shuttle service to and from the Newport PATH station during commuting hours, making the trip to Manhattan and Hoboken even faster.
The LeFrak Organization has been developing the Newport area for more than 30 years, and is credited with founding the neighborhood. Given the incredible success of the vibrant, mixed-use waterfront neighborhood, LeFrak expanded its reach to Jersey City’s other surrounding neighborhoods. LeFrak saw immense promise in the lush, brownstone-lined neighborhood of Hamilton Park. Revetment House, a sister building to LeFrak’s existing Embankment House, is the company’s fourth project in Hamilton Park, signifying the growth of Jersey City, as well as the strong demand for residential development in the surrounding areas.
