John Hufsky, CEO of Husky Foods, Canada’s leading importers and distributors of consumer packaged goods from Europe and other parts of the globe will be listing his Miami Beach penthouse for $6,150,000 with Bill Hernandez & Bryan Sereny of Douglas Elliman.
Located on the southwest corner of Miami Beach, Murano Portofino is a boutique luxury condominium built in 2002 by the Related Group. John Hufsky-owned penthouse is on the 27th floor of the highly affluent residential enclave tower /skyscraper. He has recently completed a nearly 2 year $1.5 million renovation that reset the bar within the building and neighborhood. No expense spared, the 3 bedrooms / 3bath unit was stripped down to a concrete shell and rebuilt to triple mint condition with raised ceilings, 3 balconies.
John Hufsky did not let the pandemic’s pause on material goods entering the US get in the way of his plans. If he couldn’t get it delivered on time he flew in professionals to custom-build his needs to finish his penthouse project. The curved custom ceiling required air vents that did not exist, Hufsky brought in a Yacht builder to properly create custom air vents for the ceiling’s curvature. The custom Italian millwork on the floor was required by Hufsky to continue out into the balcony with perfect alignment from the indoors continuing to the outdoors with matching Italian porcelain. With a keen eye for perfection every detail in the 2,975sft unit including the wood wall by Topciment, to the marble slabs in the bathroom were all strategically laid with a seamless design.
Other features include a garden by Plant the Future, Minotti furnishings, Boffi, Miele and Subzero appliances, the unit is built with great detail overlooking the open ocean views of Miami Beach and the Port of Miami.
