It’s almost time for the biggest Sunday in sports. If you are planning to host a big game bash, prepare festive foods and game-ready cocktails that will seriously elevate your Super Bowl viewing party. Cheer on your team, or cheers your drinks on game day with one of these cocktail recipes from The Macallan, Tequila Cazadores, Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge, NOLET’S Silver Gin, and PATRÓN. The Macallan Sour
- The Macallan Double Cask 15 Years Old
- 20ml lemon juice
- 10ml brown sugar syrup
- Egg white
- Oloroso sherry float
Shake all ingredients, except sherry, into an ice filled shaker. Strain into glass over ice. Using a bar spoon, slowly layer the sherry over the top of the cocktail.
The Macallan Cobbler
- 40ml Double Cask 12 Years Old
- 10ml lemon juice
- 20ml freshly pressed apple juice
- 5ml elderflower cordial
- Garnish with a fruit and mint sprig
Add ingredients to an ice filled shaker. Shake and strain into a highball glass filled with crushed ice and top with soda water.
PATRÓN Pom Pom Punch
(Serves 10)
- 8 oz Patrón Reposado
- 1 Bottle of red wine (pinot noir preferred)
- 9 oz Pear brandy
- 8 oz Orange juice
- 2 oz Ginger beer
- + Orange wheels
- + Pear slices
- + Apple slices
- + Seasonal fruit
Add all ingredients into pitcher or carafe and mix to combine (Can be made in advance and stored for up to a day). Pour over standard ice, garnish and serve.
PATRÓN Touchdown Toddy
- 2 oz Patrón Añejo
- 3 oz Hot water
- 1.5 oz Lemon juice
- 1 oz Honey
- 1 Pinch of ground cinnamon
- 3 drops Vanilla extract
In the bottom of a sturdy mug, combine a pinch of ground cinnamon, honey and hot water and stir to combine. Add Patrón Añejo, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Stir to combine all ingredients.
PATRÓN Silver Tequila Bramble
- 2 oz Roca Patrón Silver
- .75 oz Lemon juice
- .75 oz Creme de mure
- .25 oz Simple syrup
- 4 Fresh blackberries, one for garnish
- + Lemon wheel for garnish
In a cocktail shaker add the Roca Patrón Silver, simple syrup and lemon juice with ice. Shake vigorously to chill cocktail. In the double old fashioned glass, muddle blackberries and top with crushed ice. Pour mixture from shaker into glass and fill with more crushed ice. Carefully drizzle creme de muire over the top. Garnish with blackberry and lemon wheel.
Grand Smash
- 1.5 parts Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge
- 4 Lemon wedges
- 6-8 Mint Leaves
Muddle the lemons and mint in a shaker. Shake vigorously with ice. Pour over ice and enjoy.
Grand Collins
- 1.5 oz Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge (an exceptional blend of fine cognac and exotic bitter orange liqueur)
- 0.75 oz Fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp Simple syrup
- Soda water
- Orange zest
- Raspberry garnish
- +Lemon wheel garnish
Place ice cubes in a highball glass and add Grand Marnier, then fresh lemon juice. Top up with soda water and stir. Then add orange zest and raspberry to garnish.
Grand Margarita
- 1 part Grand Marnier® Cordon Rouge (an exceptional blend of fine cognac and exotic bitter orange liqueur)
- 1 part Tequila
- .5 part Fresh Lime Juice
- Ice cubes
- Lime Garnish
Fill a wide, shallow dish with 2-3 mm of fine salt. Cut a lime in half at the width and rub around half of the rim of a margarita glass. Cut a thin, crosswise slice from one of the lime halves for garnish. Holding glass upside down, dip wet half delicately into the salt. Shake Grand Marnier, tequila and lime juice with ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into glass and apply lime garnish to the rim.
NOLET’S Silver Touchdown Punch
(Makes a batch of 6-8 cocktails)
- 1 cup NOLET’S Silver Gin
- 1 cup Bourbon
- 1 cup Fresh Lime Juice
- 1.5 oz. Angostura Aromatic Bitters
- 1/2 cup Ginger Syrup *
- 3 cups Soda Water (can substitute 3 1/2 cups of Ginger Beer)
- Lime Wheels and Sliced Jalapeño
Combine all ingredients (except soda water) in a pitcher with ice. Stir and serve over ice in a rocks glass. Add a generous splash of soda water and garnish with lime and a jalapeño slice.
Ginger Syrup
- 3/4 cup Fresh Ginger, Peeled and sliced
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Water
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Heat on medium stirring occasionally until sugar is dissolved. Simmer for 30 minutes to allow ginger to bloom. Store unused portion in a sealed container and refrigerate.
