Automobili Lamborghini has joined forces with Italtechnology to present the first Lamborghini E-Bike models that bear the automaker’s name at its museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese. Aimed at an exclusive and demanding clientele, the E-Bikes are fitted with advanced technology and are conceived, designed, and built entirely in Italy.
Lamborghini E-Bikes are the result of over five years’ research and feature technological innovation, cutting-edge design, and four international patents. Initially, they will be available in two versions: an MTB designed for a dynamic lifestyle and outdoor activities, and a version dedicated more to speed for customers who want ultimate performance on the road, with a bike that can quickly reach the maximum speed allowed by current regulations.
The Ad Personam customisation program will be available for the Italtechnology E-Bikes for Automobili Lamborghini. The owners will be able to customize the livery in the paint colors reserved for Lamborghini’s super sports cars.
The first two versions of pedal assist E-Bikes bearing the Lamborghini name will be available online and through selected specialized retailers worldwide starting in May.
The news comes after Automobili Lamborghini and the producer of world’s lightest and fastest bikes Cervélo Cycles, have unveiled the triathlon bicycle Cervélo P5X Lamborghini edition at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show in March. The P5X is decorated with artwork by Automobili Lamborghini’s Centro Stile based at the company’s headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese. The bike sports Lamborghini’s signature yellow topcoat and Y-shaped patterning on the frame and fork and a seat post number stamp denotes each model’s position in a production run of just 25 bikes.
