Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato is the first all-terrain super sports car with V10 engine and all-wheel drive. Scheduled to be revealed on November 30, this super sports car is designed for maximum driving pleasure even on dirt surfaces. It reinterprets the very concept of sportiness and emphasizes the brand principles of brave, authenticity and the unexpected.
Three video teasers showcase Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato in action in different environments. In the third part, this super sports car teases its real skin for the first time.
The all-terrain super sports car is the production edition of the Huracán Sterrato concept that was presented back in 2019. “Sterrato” is the Italian word for “dirt road,” signifying this version of the Huracán is perfect for conquering rally-style dirt tracks and other ragged surfaces. Ground clearance of the Sterrato’s concept is heightened by 47 mm, and its front approach is sharpened by 1% and the departure angle is enhanced by 6.5%. The wheel track improved front and rear by 30 mm, with 20” wheels on balloon tires set into new wide-body wheel arches with integrated air intakes. Specially-developed larger tires with increased sidewalls enhance the asperity absorption and grip.
This all-terrain version of the Huracán will be the last Lamborghini to be powered purely by a combustion engine. Starting with the Aventador successor due in 2023, which will be a V-12 plug-in hybrid, every future Lamborghini super car will be electrified. Powering the Huracán Sterrato will more than likely be the same 5.2-liter V-10 as every other Huracán.
For the first time, Automobili Lamborghini will celebrate an unveiling of a new car at the Art Basel in Miami, at the end of this month.
