Lexus partners with Beyoncé’s RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR to make a lasting impact on communities nationwide. As the exclusive automotive partner for the U.S. leg of the tour, the luxury car brand is supporting Beyoncé’s nonprofit, the BeyGOOD Foundation, with a generous donation aimed at helping small, minority-owned businesses.
The BeyGOOD Foundation, founded by the iconic Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, launched the Black Parade Route in 2020, an initiative aimed at amplifying and promoting Black-owned and small businesses. Beyoncé committed a staggering $1 million to support small businesses in ten cities across the U.S. and regions in the United Kingdom. With this partnership, Lexus is joining the Black Parade Route to further assist small business owners impacted by economic inequities.
Lexus’ contribution to the BeyGOOD Foundation comes in the form of grants and sustainability support services for small business owners. The luxury car brand is expanding the BeyGOOD commitment by providing an additional $10,000 each to two grant recipients in all tour cities. This added support will undoubtedly help these entrepreneurs thrive and succeed in their respective communities.
Throughout the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR, the BeyGOOD Foundation will be hosting business impact luncheons in various cities, including Chicago, New York, Charlotte, N.C., Atlanta, Los Angeles, Houston, and New Orleans. These luncheons will celebrate the grant recipients, providing them with a platform to showcase their work and achievements, fostering community support and collaboration.
To further celebrate the tour sponsorship and add a touch of luxury and futurism to the event, Lexus has crafted a one-of-a-kind LC 500 vehicle. This unique masterpiece features a premium chrome-wrapped exterior with exquisite jewel accents on the mirrors, headlamp surrounds, wheel center caps, and license plate frame. The vehicle will accompany the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR in various cities and will be showcased at an interactive in-venue Lexus display. Concertgoers will have the opportunity to engage with the brand through a photobooth that includes virtual iconography from the tour set and an entertaining karaoke booth.
The RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR kicked off in Philadelphia on July 12 and will culminate in Kansas City, Mo., on October 1. As Beyoncé and her team travel across the U.S., they will be spreading not only their music but also their message of empowerment and support for small businesses.
