Louis Vuitton has unveiled the new Patches collection which is easy to spot thanks to the graphic LV initials, bold monogram flowers, and tattoo-inspired hearts. Arranged across a Neverfull, Zippy wallet or Aftergame sneakers, these upbeat accents bring out the extroverted side of various Louis Vuitton classics.
The color-infused Patches come already affixed to the products. The iconic Neverfull MM tote bag, which is fashioned of Monogram canvas and trimmed in natural leather, is decorated with colorful LV and monogram flowers. The bag pays tribute to the Louis Vuitton travel and trunk-making heritage but flaunts a contemporary look thanks to the mix of patches featuring House emblems. The $1,000 Zippy Wallet comes with travel sticker-inspired patches featuring key House signatures. The wallet’s well-organized interior and pure design make it ideal for everyday use.
Part of a special edition embracing leather goods and accessories, the LV Black Heart ankle boot is decorated with patches inspired by the labels which used to be attached to travelers’ trunks. Playfully reinterpreting Louis Vuitton signatures, they bring a touch of color to this sleek ankle boot with its stretch upper and Monogram Flower heel.
Even the LV Black Heart sneaker in patent Monogram canvas got a makeover. The shoes are garnished with colorful patches, inspired by vintage luggage labels, which playfully reinterpret Louis Vuitton signatures. Characterized by its clean lines, white laces and white rubber outsole, this design is part of a collection of accessories and leather goods which reference the House’s travel heritage.
