Louis Vuitton unveiled Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud’s latest women’s fragrance, Spell On You. To present the alluring scent, the French luxury fashion house released a Jean-Baptiste Mondino-directed film starring the actress and House Ambassador Léa Seydoux. Embodying the perfume’s hypnotic powers, the campaign is an elegant take on a passionate love story. Through shifting camera angles, the esteemed filmmaker reveals an intense attraction between two bodies.
To create the perfume, Louis Vuitton’s Master Perfumer has selected the noblest variety of one of the most precious of flowers: iris pallida from Florence. The iris insinuates its violet notes into a radiant bouquet of rose and Sambac jasmine, then unfurls the force of its powdery notes within the honeyed accents of acacia flower. Blending sensuality with lightness, Spell On You celebrates the flower’s irresistible duality
Compared to a love potion for the senses, the new Louis Vuitton’s fragrance for women releases an euphitic warmth upon contact with the body.
Where there is love, there are flowers. Fascinated by their symbolism as much as the variety of their olfactory nuances, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud has made flowers his favorite creative territory. Today, he weaves the seduction of ‘Spell On You’ around one of the most precious among them: the iris. A flower whose transformation into essences requires six years of patience.
Priced at $265 USD for the 100ml bottle and $390 USD for the 200ml bottle, Louis Vuitton’s latest perfume is now available online and at the label’s stores. The bottle of Spell on You is refillable in stores equipped with a perfume fountain.
