Within the past month, MNS has launched multiple properties (both rentals and condos) – 470 Manhattan, 567 Ocean, and 251 W 117th (which created its own app). The full-service real estate brokerage announced that some of their properties (including PLG) are moving units faster than they were pre-COVID.
People are adjusting to our “new normal” – New Yorkers have been in their homes for almost three months now – they’re figuring out exactly what they do and do not like, and are ready for some new walls to be looking at. There’s also a lot of pent up demand – people who were slated to move in April/May and are now on a month-to-month lease are feeling safer to make the move. I’m expecting a very busy summer. In terms of amenities, prospective buyers and renters are looking for private spaces, such as balconies and patios, now more than ever. But on top of that, they’re also heavily inquiring about well-kept outdoor amenity spaces. Take a look at PLG, it’s almost like its own little city with the amount of amenities – we’re actually moving units faster now than they we were pre-COVID. – Andrew Barrocas, CEO of MNS
