Tutima Glashütte expands its M2 Seven Seas S collection with the new 40mm MariTimer watch that is built for exploration. The timepiece is available in a range of four dial colors: black, blue, red, or green dégradé and with case in 40-mm midsize format that allows it to fit perfectly on slimmer wrists.
The new watches feature stainless steel cases with screwed back and threaded crown with protective flanks and can withstand a tested pressure of 50 atmospheres. This makes them perfect companions for snorkelling and diving. The partially polished stainless steel bezel with luminescent marker at the “12” can only be rotated anticlockwise. The hands and indices are covered in Super- LumiNova luminescent material to allow the time to be read in the dark. The 2.5-mm-thick sapphire crystal above the dial is antireflective, thus mini- mising irksome reflections above and below the water’s surface.
In addition to a brushed stainless steel bracelet, the new models are available with a two-component wristband made of impreg- nated leather. The underside of the strap is made from skin-friendly rubber. Red stitching along the wristband’s sides matches the dial’s color.
Like the other watches in this series, these new models are fitted with Tutima’s self-winding Caliber 330. The movement is ennobled with the Tutima gold seal and offers a 38-hour power after its mainspring has been fully wound.
The M2 Seven Seas S MariTimer retails for $2,350 USD on bracelet, $1,980 USD on strap.
