A New York-based audio company Master & Dynamic has partnered with German optics enterprise Leica Camera to create the Master & Dynamic for 0.95 signature collection. The capsule collection of sound tools 0.95 is a tribute to the Leica Noctilux – M 50 mm f/0.95 ASPH. lens which reveals details that human eye can’t see.
The collection features the reimagined MW60 Over-Ear Headphones, MH40 Over-Ear Headphones, ME05 Earphones, and the MP1000 headphone stand. All products will be available at participating Leica Stores globally, luxury online retail partner Mr Porter, starting May 11th, 2017.
The black metal/black smooth grain cowhide headphones and black chrome over solid brass earphones are marked with the signature Leica red dot and the headphones have red acoustic mesh on the ear pads. Leica’s signature knurling is apparent throughout, as are the words “Developed in NYC. Reimagined in Wetzlar,” which are engraved inside the ear cup of the MW60 and MH40 in the company’s signature font. Electroplated steel headphone stand with a weighted base for desk, studio or home use is decorated with custom knurling and etching and is an ideal accessory for displaying 0.95 capsule headphones.
