Maserati is set to make automotive enthusiasts’ hearts race with the introduction of the MC20 Notte Edition. This limited edition of the MC20, the brand’s super sports car born for the track and bred for the road, is a celebration of Maserati’s daring spirit and racing heritage.
The MC20 marked Maserati’s triumphant return to its supercar roots, blending sportiness with luxury. Now, the MC20 Notte Edition takes it a step further, bringing the car closer to its racing soul. With only 50 units available globally, the Notte Edition is a roaring creature conceived to seduce both on the road and the track.
The exterior of the MC20 Notte draws inspiration from the mystical and intense power of darkness. Collaborating with Andrea Bertolini, Maserati’s reference driver and former GT1 world champion, the Fuoriserie team crafted a bodywork that transitions from glossy black to a magnetic matte ‘nero essenza’ hue. Bertolini’s Midas touch turns the details – Trident, side logos, and Maserati signature – into matte white gold, reigniting the brand’s glorious motorsport memories.
Glued to the tarmac, the 20″ matte black birdcage wheels with matte white golden accents and black brake calipers enhance the car’s visual appeal. Inside, the MC20 Notte features 6-way power sport seats in Alcantara black/grey with yellow stitching, a sport steering wheel with carbon fiber inserts, and the unmistakable Trident on the headrests. An exclusive metal plate celebrating the MC20 Notte Edition, along with a ‘UNA DI 50’ (one of 50) signature, adds a touch of exclusivity.
Klaus Busse, Head of Maserati Design, explains that “Fuoriserie” means ‘custom-built’ in Italian, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to creating one-of-a-kind rolling sculptures for clients. The MC20 Notte, as the first Fuoriserie limited edition of the MC20, is dedicated to super sportscar collectors and track enthusiasts, combining supreme performance, Italian elegance, and the mystery of the nocturnal world.
To mark the launch of the MC20 Notte Edition, Maserati enlisted the support of global brand ambassador and MC20 enthusiast David Beckham and Andrea Bertolini. In an engaging short film, Beckham’s MC20 is transformed into a racing creature, blazing through the night across the city and on the racetrack. This cinematic celebration captures the essence of the MC20 Notte’s thrill and allure.
