OMEGA counts down to the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. With less than 100 days left until the iconic sporting event begins in Japan, the Official Timekeeper is unveiling a special tribute timepiece – the Seamaster Diver 300M Tokyo 2020. Tokyo 2020 will mark the 29th time in history that OMEGA has accomplished its role as Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games since 1932.
The OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M Tokyo 2020 features a unique color scheme inspired by the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games emblem. The 42 mm case is made in stainless steel and is mounted with a blue ceramic bezel ring, which is filled with a white enamel diving scale. Stainless steel is also used for the polished-brushed bracelet that is integrated with the case.
A polished white ceramic dial features extra depth provided by the laser-engraved waves. A date window at 6 o’clock and the famous Seamaster name highlighted in red garnish the dial. Blued hands and indexes complete the design and are filled with white Super-LumiNova. The sapphire crystal caseback features transferred Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games emblem, while on the inside, there is the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800 – which has been officially certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
The unique timepiece is housed inside a special Olympic Games presentation box that also contains a Master Chronometer card and a full 5-year warranty.
