Founded in 1922, Patrone – one of the oldest Italian shipyards – celebrates its centenary with Patrone 100 day cruiser. Italian yacht designer Tommaso Spadolini was chosen for the challenging project of designing a new gozzo. Inspired by the iconic Patrone boats from the Sixties, it features the outboard engine and uses “ecological” teak on deck.
Patrone 100 is characterized by elegant sporty lines that pay homage to the glamorous features of classic speedboats, and thanks to the large and uninterrupted windows of the hull that almost reach the apex of the bow it provides constant visual contact with the sea. The entire deck was designed to allow the owner and his guests to enjoy time in the open air, with areas for relaxation, conversation, and sunbathing. The aft dinette can double as a second solarium, while the swimming platform, a traditional feature in Patrone’s vessels, can also be used with outboards by extending over the bracket and equipped with two side swim ladders and double access from the cockpit. A comfortable open-air hob is easily accessible under the foldable driving seats.
The lower deck includes the owner’s cabin in the bow with a large double bed. Tommaso Spadolini offers two possible layouts: the Deluxe version, designed for those who sail mainly as a couple and appreciate privacy and comfort, and the Family version, which is designed for the whole family and therefore has a second cabin. Seven different configurations have been offered. There is also an item of furniture almost two meters long that can accommodate a kitchenette below deck if desired.
The first inboard diesel Patrone 100 will debut at the 2022 Cannes Yachting Festival in September, before being exhibited at the Genoa Boat Show a few days later.
