Luxury condos with rooftop pools have become the target of homebuyer envy since the pandemic began. Cooling off in a pool on a hot day is a wonderful feeling and unwinding under blue skies while soaking in sweeping skyline views takes the pool day experience to a whole new level.
These two NYC condo developments offer breathtaking rooftop pools as the latest in-demand amenity for buyers.
The Westly
The Westly, a boutique condominium building being developed by Adam America Real Estate and Northlink Capital at 251 West 91st Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side will feature a rare rooftop pool. Slated to be the only open-air rooftop pool on the Upper West Side, the rooftop will feature recreational and lounge areas.

Designed by ODA, The Westly features 52 residences consisting of two- to five-bedroom homes, with select homes offering private outdoor terraces. The residences range in size from approximately 1,252 to 3,5245 square feet, with asking prices starting at approximately $2.625 million for a two-bedroom home to $13.5 million for a five-bedroom home. The generous amenities at The Westly also include a 24-hour concierge with a grand double-height lobby and a stone clad, helix-shaped grand staircase; fitness center and yoga studio; lounge; children’s playroom; youth room for gaming; music room; bike room; live-in superintendent; and pet grooming station. Sales for the building are being handled by Million Dollar Listing star Ryan Serhant through his new firm SERHANT.
Brooklyn Point
Last year, Brooklyn’s tallest residential tower, Brooklyn Point, revealed the highest infinity pool in the Western Hemisphere. Situated 680 feet above the ground – making it higher than the famous Marina Bay Sands Hotel pool in Singapore – the 27-foot-long pool offers nearly 360-degree views of the skyline. Designed by Matthews Nielsen Landscape Architects, the landscaped rooftop retreat is set atop the 68-story building. The heated, infinity-edge pool is open to residents Spring through Fall, offering wide-sweeping views of Manhattan. It is surrounded by lounge chairs, al fresco dining areas, and an outdoor movie screening space, and features a stargazing observatory.

Brooklyn Point is designed by world-renowned architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) with custom residential and amenity interiors by Katherine Newman Design (KND). SERHANT. handles sales for the tower.
