Ripsaw EV2 is one of the world’s most sought after high performance, luxury vehicles and can arguably be the baddest ride in the garage of a billionaire. The brain child of Mike and Geoff Howe from Howe and Howe Tech, a high speed super tank was conceived as the military vehicle and was based on the Ripsaw, the fastest dual tracked platform ever developed.
Since 2013, Howe and Howe Tech has been busy transforming the Ripsaw EV2 into luxurious off-roader. The result is a handcrafted, limited run, high end luxury super tank that features 12 inches of suspension travel, luxurious interior, over 600 diesel horsepower and is perfect for extreme off road recreation. The two-seater Ripsaw EV2 is powered by The 600hp 6.6L Duramax diesel attached to an Allison automatic transmission, can propel the two-seater Ripsaw EV2 over 60 mph with a sports car-like acceleration. Moreover, it’s possible to order a fully sealed aerospace-aluminum “hull” with floatation-capability. With the 40-gallon fuel tank full it can run 300 miles between refills and has a 15,000-pound winch mounted on each of its bumpers.
Inside, the Ripsaw EV2 is equipped with gullwing doors, climate control, a sound system, high-end leather seats and since there’s no rear window, the vehicle features an LCD screen with an integrated backup-camera display. Steering is accomplished electronically, with only a quarter turn in either direction to reach the steering locks.
