This year, Riva celebrates its 180th anniversary and opens the new location of an elegant Riva Privée at the Cristallo, Luxury Collection Resort & SPA in Cortina D’Ampezzo, the pearl of the Dolomites.
The new Riva space is inspired by the cultural heritage and art nouveau-inspired architecture of Hotel Cristallo. Its decor evokes the world of yachting and features wood, chrome plating, stainless steel, and varnished mahogany (as seen on yacht decks). The new Riva Privée is a temporary space that will welcome guests in the Stube 1872, the restaurant where chef Marco Pinelli has created a special Riva menu featuring traditional Cortina d’Ampezzo cuisine.
The Riva Destination in Paris, Venice, Opatija, Monaco, Mykonos, and Formentera extend the values and appeal of the Riva legend to prestigious hotels, restaurants, and clubs with the aim of displaying Riva excellence for boat owners, yachting enthusiasts, and travelers in search of elite destinations.
Recent Riva Destination openings worldwide include the Riva Privée in Ischia, at the Ristorante Daní Maison, whose culinary excellence is assured by Michelin-star chef Nino Di Costanzo; the Riva Lounge and Privée at the Ikador Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa in Opatija (Croatia), the famous tourist resort that has won over the international jet set with its beautiful landscapes and crystal clear water; the Riva Privée at the Molo47 restaurant on Formentera; the Riva Privée at Splash, Port Van Gogh, Paris, which offers guests the opportunity to discover unbelievably beautiful views of the French capital from the river on board an Aquariva Super; the Riva Lounge on the terrace of The Gritti Palace in Venice, famous for its atmosphere and breathtaking views out over the Canal Grande and of Santa Maria della Salute Cathedral. Other dream locations are the Riva Lounges at the historic Riva di Sarnico Shipyard and on the fourth floor of the Monaco Yacht Club.
