Rolls-Royce invited its patrons for the world’s first cars and cognac meet; an occasion that truly was the Rolls-Royce of car meetings. The assembly, that was inspired by the Californian movement of ‘cars and coffee’, gathered motor car owners to enjoy refreshments in a private environment befitting of the marque: Soho Farmhouse private members’ club in the heart of the Cotswolds.
The ‘cars and cognac’ meet demonstrated the wonderful spirit of our customers as well as their deep passion for the brand. This evening was reflective of the rich dialogue between Rolls-Royce and its patrons; a truly unique and extremely rare relationship, one which we are privileged to nurture. – Julian Jenkins, Regional Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
Guests captured the phenomenon’s spirit with an evening of fine-dining, followed by a cognac tasting in a private and beautiful farmhouse barn. Dining tables were flanked by a Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge adorned with the new Aero Cowling and a Rolls-Royce Dawn from the Adamas Collection. At the head of the table was Phantom, the marque’s flagship, equipped with a bespoke Picnic Hamper from which a Cognac sommelier advised tasting practices and notes. Guests either stayed within Soho Farmhouse or were returned home by a chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce.
Recently, the New Rolls-Royce Phantom won a ‘Five-star Car’ trophy at the Autocar Awards 2018, which honors the best cars produced in the automotive industry over the past year. The Autocar Awards 2018 recognized the eighth car that carries the Phantom nameplate, for its staggering technical complexity, immaculate refinement, comfort and grace. It has a sense of occasion far in advance of anything else on four wheels and is now better to drive than ever before.
