The Star Trail Ankle boot carries several of Nicolas Ghesquiere’s signature features, such as the round cap toe complemented with a contrasting all-around stitched oversize sole. Set on a chuncky heel, the pair is flawlessly crafted from the Maison’s iconic monogram canvas with a patent finishing. Achieving a perfect balance between classic and edgy, this chunky-heeled shoes are decorated with tiny golden studs highlighting the stitching or reinterpreted with a luxurious silver fox fur ornement.
The Star Trail ankle boot family is garnished in Louis Vuitton’s emblematic pattern, that celebrates its 120th anniversary this year. The Monogram reflects the love and admiration of Louis Vuitton’s son Georges for his brilliant father. The delicate design was conceived in 1896, inspired by the pattern of four-petal flowers on the Gien earthenware tiles in the family kitchen in Asnières.
