Gansevoort Meatpacking (New York City)
Iconic Manhattan hotel Gansevoort Meatpacking offers five New Year’s Eve events.
1. The Ultimate New Year’s Eve
The package includes tickets for 2 to the Gansevoort Rooftop NYE Event, New Year’s Day Recovery Brunch for 2 at The Chester, and a celebratory bottle of Moët & Chandon champagne upon arrival. Rates start at $1,300 and can be booked HERE.
2. Gansevoort Rooftop Dinner
The 5-course prix fixe dinner on the iconic Gansevoort Rooftop will include a complimentary glass of Veuve Clicquot Brut Champagne, incredible views of the Hudson River, and entertainment form a live Jazz band. Each guest will be able to choose from a selection of options for each of the five courses, with highlights including Blini with Caviar, Roasted artichoke hearts with champagne vinaigrette and bacon wrapped filet mignon. The tasting dinner starts at $250 per person plus taxes and fees and can be booked on OpenTable.
3. Gansevoort Rooftop NYE Party
Gansevoort Rooftop will host a semi-formal party where guests will be able to enjoy a premium open bar from 10 pm – 1 am, as well as a champagne toast when the clock strikes midnight, a DJ, and options for bottle/table service. Attire is festive, semi-formal and attendees must be 21 or older. The party will go from 10 pm to 4 am, with tickets starting at $209.14. Tickets can be purchased and tables can be reserved HERE.
4. Saishin New Year’s Eve Omakase Experience
Gansevoort’s unique rooftop omakase restaurant, Saishin, will be offering a special limited NYE omakase experience. The evening will consist of a 15-course tasting, including 4 appetizers and a dessert, a glass of Veuve Clicquot upon arrival, and sushi, sashimi and nigiri dishes featuring the freshest and highest quality ingredients, such as A5 wagyu, winter truffled uni, and more. Seatings are available at 5:00 PM, 5:30 PM, 7:00 PM, 7:30 PM and 9:00 PM, and 9:15 PM. The experience can be booked HERE for $275 per person plus tax.
5. The Chester’s New Year’s Eve Party
Gansevoort will also be hosting a lively party at The Chester, their American bistro-style restaurant, complete with a four hour open bar from 9 pm – 1 am in partnership with Volcán De Mi Tierra. Tickets start at $158.60. Join the party from 9 pm – 4 am HERE.
Guests are invited to start their New Year’s Eve festivities with a cocktail and live music at European style cafe, Coffee + Cocktails from 5 pm to 6 pm. The cafe’s full cocktail menu will be available, with sips ranging from a classic bubbly or one of C+C’s specialty espresso martinis and non-alcoholic options such as coffees, teas and cold pressed juices.
Guests are encouraged to experience The Chester’s Recovery Brunch on New Year’s Day. The experience will offer a full brunch menu featuring classics such as french toast, pancakes and a florentine omelet, along with bottomless brunch cocktails, in case you want to continue the party from 2022, with choices of mimosa, bloody mary and bellini. Breakfast pastries and bacon will also be served for the entire table. In case you need a bit more of a boost, the Chester will be offering B12 injections from IVDrips to help revive your body even more. The brunch experience can be booked on Opentable for $65 per person and is available from 11 am – 3 pm on January 1st.
Maison de la Luz (New Orleans)
Luxury guest house Maison de la Luz will host a NYE Midnight in Paris party. The event will be from 5 pm – 7 pm in the Living Room and will feature live French music, champagne, wine, canapes and hors d’oeuvres for the guests’ enjoyment. At Bar Marilou guests will be able to experience the ultimate over-the-top celebration of the New Year on December 31st. The venue will have a live DJ and/or music, especially cocktails and a curated menu for the night. The space will also feature psychedelic art projected on the ceilings to enhance your surrealism experience.
Dawn Ranch (Sonoma County)
Ring in the New Year with Dawn Ranch at the redwood resort’s NYE celebration, featuring a 3-course dinner, live musical entertainment and a midnight sparkling toast. The festivities will start at 8 PM and run through midnight. The dinner will include 3 courses: a starter, a soup or salad and an entree, with the option to add dessert, and will start at $150 per person. Menu highlights include the Baked Date Cheese Dip, Winter Kale Salad, Airline Chicken Breast and Champagne Darling. Tickets to the dinner event can be purchased HERE.
Guests who want to spend the night at Dawn Ranch, the resort will be offering a special New Year’s Eve package, which includes the evening of celebration and festivities for 2, along with a 1-night stay on New Year’s Eve, so you can wake up refreshed and ready to begin another year.
