At CES 2022, Kohler will present new additions to its smart home portfolio. Focusing on enhancing wellbeing, the collection of the new home products includes Stillness Bath, a multi-sensory bathing experience inspired by Japanese forest bathing.
Spa-like Stillness Bath boasts an unconventional design and promises to turn bathing into a sanctuary for self-care and well-being. Water, light, fog, and aromas create an immersive journey of the senses designed to relax the mind, soothe the body and renew the spirit.
The Stillness Infinity Experience bath begins with water filling from the bottom of the bath, overflowing into the hinoki wood base to create a soothing sound. Full-spectrum lighting that surrounds the bath, creates the mood and stage for a relaxed state of mind. The fog then envelopes the surface of the bath and helps the user to immerse in a feeling of complete relaxation. The essential oils can be added to the bath’s experience tower that emits the aromas to revive the senses.
Every element of the smart bath can be controlled via the KOHLER® Konnect app. Furthermore, with its optional PerfectFill technology, users have the opportunity to voice control the settings of their preferred bath conditions – from automated temperature, water levels, and draining.
The base model will be available for $8,000, while a sophisticated Infinity Experience – where the tub is placed in the middle of a free-flowing wooden base with RGB lighting – will retail for $16,000.
