Adriana Hoyos Design Studios brings nature in by using traditionally outdoor materials indoors. Their recent project, Champagne House in Quito, Ecuador, shows the harmonious nature of indoor/outdoor living through the entwining and mixing of materials, highlighting the interiors with outdoor materials such as wood and millwork to contrast against the marble and combination of textures and tapestries throughout. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows eliminate barriers between the outside world and home, while the architecture further notes the fusion of materials and colors, achieving an integration of the interior with the exterior.
