In early 2017 Lux Exposé had the idea of combining Superheroes & Luxury. This might take a while for it to stimulate the prefrontal cortex of your brain and get you all excited like we are but you will be, here’s why!
It’s almost comical (pun intended) with how many blog posts and articles you will find on who is the wealthiest superhero of all time.
If you are a comics fan then you probably love eccentric, self-described genius, billionaire, playboy and philanthropist Tony Stark of Iron Man who loves his luxury toys. His ability as a designer and creator has dished out some seriously amazing gadgets including the fabulous Iron Man Suit.
What about billionaire industrialist and notorious playboy Bruce Wayne of Batman? This guy is the heir of Wayne Enterprises founded by merchant ancestors of the Wayne family in the 17th century as a merchant house.
Forbes estimates Wayne’s worth at $9.2 billion, and lists his company, Wayne Enterprises, as having an annual revenue of $31.3 billion.
Lets get serious about T’Challa of Black Panther. T’Challa, isn’t just the richest superhero of all time but he is also the King of Wakanda that holds nearly all the world’s reserves of Vibranium. Wakanda is home to incredible amounts of Vibranium which is an ultra-rare, insanely expensive, sound-absorbing metal, the same of which Captain America’s shield is made of.
“Pure Vibranium retails for about $10,000 per gram (Fantastic Four#607), and Wakanda’s vaults hold 10,000 tons of the stuff (Doomwar #1). That comes out to $90.7 trillion dollars worth of Vibranium. Tony Stark may have some fancy cars and a nice house, but T’Challa’s mineral wealth alone is worth more than the GDP of the entire (real) world.” – Source
