As Earth Day on April 22d draws closer, many industries are joining the cause of safeguarding our planet. The wine and spirits industry is not an exception. Novo Fogo Cachaça, for example, makes great efforts to invest in the planet and embrace the spirit of Earth Day.
Novo Fogo Cachaça is an exceptional, award-winning cachaça produced in small batches at a zero-waste distillery on the edge of the Brazilian rainforest. Caipirinha
- 2 oz Novo Fogo Fogo Silver or Novo Fogo Barrel-Aged Cachaça
- 1.25 Tbsp Sugar
- ½ Lime
Remove the width pith from the lime and discard it. Cut the remaining lime in slices; toss them into the glass. Muddle them with sugar in the glass. Fill the glass with ice. Add cachaça and pour everything into a shaker. Shake and pour everything (including the ice) back into the same glass.
