Only for one month, before its global release, starting July 6th, the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 Kingsman Special Edition is available for purchase exclusively on Mr Porter, the award-winning global retail destination for men’s style. TAG Heuer/MARV films/20th century Fox partnership for the film “Kingsman: The Golden Circle”, which will hit cinemas worldwide on September 22, 2017, was announced back in May. In the highly anticipated movie, the characters will wear the legendary Monaco and the TAG Heuer Connected, which will be key to the success of the heroes’ missions. They needed watches that could withstand anything, be it underwater shots, fight scenes or stunts.
Elegant and connected at the same time, the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 embodies the aesthetic adopted by the movie’s agents: pink gold lugs and an elegant leather strap with Kingsman print. Available for $3,650, the watch comes with a second strap in orange velvet, inspired by the iconic orange velvet suit.
An all-terrain watch Connected Modular 45 Kingsman Special Edition differs from the classic collection with its dials function. Available in either midnight blue or grey, it features the Kingsman inscription and logo at 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock. At 10:10, the dial vibrates for 10 seconds and the K-shaped logo appears. In a final nod to the film, the original Android Wear lighting function is replaced by the film’s logo on the dial, in gold on a white background.

This is TAG Heuer’s first global online launch, following its partnerships with Chinese online retailers JD.com and Tmall.com. The Kingsman programme is part of the Swiss watch company’s strategy to connect with a millennial audience and to build its ecommerce business.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle stars original cast members Colin Firth, Taron Egerton, and Mark Strong, and introduces new cast members Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Pedro Pascal, Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges.
