TAG Heuer celebrates the prestigious Monaco Historic Grand Prix that took place last weekend, with the new TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf Special Edition. The Swiss watchmaker is the Official Sponsor of the Monaco Historic Grand Prix.
The TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf is created in partnership with Gulf. The watch is characterized by a beautiful design and is outfitted with the in-house Heuer 02 movement that is housed in the fine brushed and polished.
For this new special edition, the design of the TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf continues to be based on the three iconic colors of Gulf but this time in a more contemporary color combination: the special dark blue, turquoise, and orange.
Focusing on the watch’s dial, the sleek Gulf elements are mixed with the refined aesthetic of the TAG Heuer Monaco. For the first time, the three Gulf colors are present on the minute sub-counters at 3 o’clock, too. A premiere in the Monaco Gulf watch editions, the Gulf logo on the dial is totally white.
The back of the TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf Special Edition features a unique version of the oscillating mass and column wheel with a special engraving colored to match the Gulf orange pantone. To complete the sporty but refined look of the watch, the strap is made with of perforated blue calfskin leather and an orange lining.
The new Monaco Gulf Special Edition is housed in a new box and a special travel pouch, also using the refreshed Gulf colors. The watch is available and sold worldwide in the TAG Heuer boutiques and on the e-commerce website of the brand.
