To mark its 60th anniversary in style, McLaren revealed a spectacular range of options for all newly ordered series-production models. Paying homage to McLaren’s historic ‘Triple Crown’ achievement, these options are set to redefine luxury and performance for the GT, Artura, and the all-new 750S supercar.
McLaren’s journey to the Triple Crown, a prestigious accomplishment in motorsport, unfolded over 21 years. It began with a victory at the Indianapolis 500 in 1974, followed by a remarkable 15 wins at the Monaco Grand Prix, and culminated in the iconic 1995 triumph at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the F1 GTR.
To commemorate each victory, McLaren offers three exquisite exterior paint colors across its series-production road car lineup. The Indy Orange, Monaco White, and Le Mans Grey pay tribute to the winning cars, blending tradition with modern flair. The addition of Triple Crown Stripes, exclusive to 750S models, adds a distinctive touch, with a McLaren Triple Crown logo at the front and individual victory years at the rear.
Adding to the visual feast, McLaren introduces two new 60th Anniversary brake caliper colors – Indy Blue and Le Mans Gold. Inspired by the Indianapolis 500 and the legendary McLaren F1 GTR, respectively, these colors are available on 750S, GT, and Artura models.
For those opting for gloss carbon fiber door mirrors, the 60th Anniversary ‘Speedy Kiwi’ logo, in Orange or Silver, can be applied to the mirror casings. This iconic logo is mirrored on a dedication plaque exclusively designed for cars equipped with the 60th Anniversary options.
Step inside, and the celebration continues with a range of interior options. The painted steering wheel center line marker in Indy Orange, designed for cars with a specified carbon fiber steering wheel, adds a personal touch. Extended carbon fiber painted gearshift paddles, adorned with stripes in the McLaren Triple Crown colors, complete the interior enhancements.
All cars ordered with 60th Anniversary options will boast a new brushed aluminum dedication plaque. Featuring a 60th Anniversary logo in McLaren Orange, the plaque incorporates the famous McLaren ‘Speedy Kiwi,’ paying homage to Bruce McLaren’s racing legacy. For the rare 750S models with Triple Crown Stripes, a “1 of 60” marking on the dedication plaque emphasizes the exclusivity of this remarkable specification.
