Hotels across the country know how to do the holiday right and are preparing exciting Thanksgiving festivities. From stay packages in NYC to a farm-to-table dinner at Dawn Ranch in Sonoma County, CA these Thanksgiving-themed events cover everything from the Thanksgiving Day Parade to Thanksgiving Dinner.
Kixby Hotel – Midtown
To celebrate the annual Thanksgiving Day parade, Kixby Hotel in New York prepared all the necessities for a great viewing experience. Guests will enjoy:
- A stay in the middle of the action in either a Lux Queen or Lux King room
- A savings of 25% on rooms
- Complimentary breakfast of hot cider, coffee, hot chocolate and pastries, also available to go for those on the move.
- For those who opt to stay inside to avoid the cold and crowds and watch the event on screen, Kixby will be hosting a watch party in on-site lounge, Lot 15, where we will live stream the entire parade

Gansevoort Hotel – Meatpacking District
Coffee + Cocktails and The Chester, both located in Gansevoort Meatpacking, will be offering a Thanksgiving dinner. The Thanksgiving menu will be offered at both venues and includes an herb-roasted turkey, alongside sweet potatoes, stuffing, turkey gravy and cranberry sauce, all for $32. Two dessert options will be available: apple tart or pumpkin tart, each for $10. Reservations for both Coffee + Cocktails and The Chester can be made on OpenTable.
Dawn Ranch – Guerneville, CA
Dawn Ranch is a luxury cabin resort nestled on the banks of the Russian River, in Guerneville, CA. This holiday season, it will be offering Thanksgiving festivities for both guests and locals alike. Thanksgiving dinner at Agriculture Public House includes a three-course prix fixe experience, bookable for both guests and locals alike. Guests can enjoy dishes such as Pumpkin Safe Arancini, Warm Butternut Squash Soup, Arugula Fig Salad, Honey Mustard Slow Braised Turkey and Grilled Portabello in the restaurant’s cozy lodge space. The dinner experience can be booked by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org for $65 per person plus tax and gratuities.
Guests can also book the Thanksgiving Escape package that includes a two-night stay at the resort as well as Thanksgiving dinner for two. Rates begin at $750 plus taxes and fees and can be booked here. Dawn Ranch also offers an add-on to its Thanksgiving Escape package that allows groups to book private time in the resort’s historic boat house to screen their personal home videos, equipped with seating and blankets from outdoor drinkware brand Yeti. Dawn Ranch will provide a bottle of local wine and complimentary popcorn. Add on can be booked here, starting at $150.
San Morello at the Shinola Hotel – Detroit, MI
Located at the Shinola Hotel in Detroit, San Morello is the upscale Italian restaurant from Chef Andrew Carmellini. This Thanksgiving, the venue will offer a three-course prix-fixe menu that features fall flavors and vegetables, giving those dining the option to choose from a myriad of options of Antipasti, Secondi and Dolci courses. Highlights include the pumpkin agnolotti, wild mushroom risotto, short rib braciole, and of course some delicious twists on Thanksgiving classics such as the turkey with sicilian orange glaze and marsala gravy, pumpkin spice cheesecake and torta setteveli. The dinner can be booked through the restaurant’s website for $100 per person and is available from 12 pm – 9 pm on Thanksgiving. San Morello will also be offering a breakfast buffet for $45 per person from 7 am – 11 am on Thanksgiving day.
San Morello also offers a Thanksgiving Takeaway Feast, which will include a three-course meal featuring the Insalata Autumnale, Glazed turkey breast, stuffing, brussels sprouts, pumpkin tiramisu and more thanksgiving favorites, plus additional optional add-ons and wine pairings. The takeaway feast can be pre-ordered through San Morello’s website. Feasts are available for pick up on Wednesday 11/23 from 10 am to 8 pm or Thursday 11/24 from 12 pm to 6 pm.
ACE Hotel NOLA – New Orleans, LA
To celebrate Thanksgiving, ACE Hotel in New Orleans will be offering a specialty Thanksgiving menu. Josephine Estelle, a New Orleans osteria from award-winning Chefs Andy Ticer and Michael Hudman, will be offering a Prix-fixe dine-in option, as well as a to-go option for those who would like to enjoy delicious meal from the comfort of their own home. The four-course prix-fixe menu features Leek Tagliatelle with trumpet mushrooms, lump crab, and chard; Roasted Joyce Farms Turkey Breast with andouille cornbread stuffing, and Pumpkin Cheesecake.
