In an exciting collaboration that celebrates the essence of Mexican culture, super-premium tequila brand PATRÓN is joining forces with Mexican racing icon Checo Pérez to unveil the 2023 limited-edition PATRÓN Mexican Heritage Tin. This annual release not only captures the magic, drive, and passion of these two proudly Mexican icons but also pays homage to the rich heritage and traditions of Mexico.
The eighth edition of the Mexican Heritage Tin features a vibrant design inspired by Checo’s life both on and off the racetrack. The intricate artwork combines bold line work, vibrant colors, and hidden symbols that represent the values most important to Checo – beauty, strength, freedom, hard work, and family. From agave fields to coyotes and the golden eagle at the center symbolizing the strength and freedom of the Mexican people, each element tells a story of Checo’s connection to his roots.
Checo Pérez, driver for the Oracle Red Bull Racing Team, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Mexico is always with me no matter where I might be in the world, so I’m excited to finally share this collaboration that I created alongside my PATRÓN familia.” He emphasized the special meaning behind each symbol on the tin, representing the passion and pride in Mexico that brought PATRÓN and him together.

PATRÓN Tequila made its foray into the racing world in 2021 by welcoming Checo Pérez into the PATRÓN familia. The collaboration has since evolved, with PATRÓN becoming the official tequila of the Paddock Club and, most recently, Bacardi becoming the official global spirits partner of the Oracle Red Bull Racing team. The Mexican Heritage Tin collaboration marks another milestone as PATRÓN continues to make its mark in the prestigious race culture.
