Aston Martin/Emilia Burano
What happens when two luxury and craftsmanship-led success stories merge? The high-end lace-making atelier Emilia Burano has been offering the finest tableware and bespoke posh bed linens since the 15th century furnishing the world’s most prominent residences, hotels, yachts and private jets. A century old British legend Aston Martin is a globally respected automobile manufacturer and one of the world’s most iconic brands.
A remarkable heritage and the sumptuous way of life that these two brands offer, unify them at the next edition of the prestigious Maison&Objet lifestyle trade show in Paris in September. The Venetian textile company in conjunction with English car maker will present several new high quality, authentically designed fabric collections.
The collaboration between the high quality fabric house and the British sports car maker represents the latest development of Aston Martin’s pioneering Art of Living philosophy, where art meets design. The two companies share a passion for the finest craftsmanship, attention to detail and luxury finish.
Emilia Burano designer Lorenzo Ammendola has created opulent home collection in a modern version of Burano lace and the sophisticated style found in an elegant design of Aston Martin. The collection consists of five refined selections to complement bedroom, dining room, bathroom and spa – all sharing the same characteristics of premium quality and high luxury.
To create the exclusive home pieces, Emilia Burano utilized a one-of-a-kind cotton weave handmade specifically for Aston Martin. The sateen 100% silk cut, 650 thread count are made of a manually harvested cotton. The textile fibre comes from a small area on the Nile Delta, where rain and high humidity combine to produce ideal cotton-growing conditions. The result is the exceptionally strong and more resistant to wear fabric. The Aston Martin/Emilia Burano Collection is also made of Italian linen.
