The holiday season is in full swing and it’s that time of year to start making your New Year’s Eve plans. If you haven’t yet made up your mind, here’s a list of the best venues and restaurants to ring in the New Year.
FLORIDA
MILA Restaurant – Miami
Get ready to welcome a fantastic 2022 at MILA Restaurant. Located in the heart of South Beach, the restaurant offers a two-hour dining experience “izakaya” style. The best way to enjoy the izakaya experience is to order a variety of food and share it with your party. The MILA team introduces the bold signature flavors of the Mediterranean and Japanese culture, including premium wagyu, black rock lava grilled prime filet, beef short rib ‘kalbi’, foie gras and uni diver scallops, shawarma spiced wagyu gyoza, MediterrAsian makis and more.

The New Year’s Eve first seating between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. will be offered at $250 indoor for a prefix menu and $300 outdoors. A second seating will be available from 9:00 p.m. through the end of the night for $450 inside and the addition of a $350 beverage minimum outside.
W South Beach – Miami
For New Year’s Eve, W South Beach’s restaurant and outdoor bar space RWSB (Restaurant W South Beach) will be transformed into a Japanese garden and a Butterfly room where guests can dine surrounded by the Madama Butterfly show. The experience will include dancers, singers, a burlesque show moment, classical ballet and a live paint show flowing through the restaurant and bar space during the performance.
The first dinner seating will begin at 6:30pm. The second dinner seating will begin at 9 PM and the show will begin at 9 PM. The bar area at Irma’s is first come first serve (no ticket required). Living Room Bar will have tables available for bottle service. The experience is available for locals, visitors and W South Beach guests.
JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa – Orlando
Usher in 2022 at The JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek. One of the newest resorts in the upscale neighborhood will host a Bonenkai party at its Japanese-inspired rooftop lounge, illume. The traditional Japanese celebration roughly translates to “forget the year,” where friends and family gather to do just that. This Bonenkai party will be the best in town, with a live DJ from 8:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. and 180-degree views of the Orlando fireworks. Guests who want more than admittance to the party can level up with the VIP Package, which includes reserved seating, an a la carte food menu with Jubako-style (also known as “bento”) sharable light bites, access to the “dessert lounge” and a midnight champagne toast with snacks.

The resort will also host a New Year’s Day Hangover Brunch at Unreserved. The menu items include maple glazed pork belly, Nutella stuffed French toast, a crab cake benedict station and a complimentary mimosa or bloody mary.
Caribe Royale Orlando – Orlando
Experienec some of Orlando’s best fine dining at Caribe Royale Orlando’s The Venetian Chop House. The on-site AAA Four Diamond restaurant is hosting a special New Year’s Eve Chef Tasting from 5pm-10pm for $150 (with an option to upgrade to the Black Truffles & Caviar Experience for $35).

After an epic night of celebration, guests can retreat to brand new 1-bedroom suites, and start 2022 off right with a New Year’s Day Breakfast at the resort’s go-to breakfast spot, Tropicale, where a special endless breakfast buffet awaits.
NEW YORK
InterContinental New York Barclay – New York
This holiday season InterContinental New York Barclay is offering an impressive New Year’s Eve package within its opulent Harold S Vanderbilt Penthouse Suite. Spreading out across an impressive 2700 Sq ft, this suite features extensive living space, a kitchen, personal gym, multiple rooms, a 1300 sq ft private outdoor terrace.

From December 30 to January 2, guests can enjoy a long weekend stay in Harold S. Vanderbilt Penthouse Suite. To arrive in style, they will enjoy a helicopter transfer from the airport via Blade into the city to/from the airport with car service to get to and from hotel. Outdoor Terrace will be set up with heaters, luxurious blankets for outdoor live streaming of the ball drop. Guests will enjoy a brunch for up to four guests in-suite with Jazz Trio for entertainment. Inns of Aurora – Aurora
1833 Kitchen & Bar, the main restaurant of the Inns of Aurora, a luxury lakeside boutique resort, offers a festive five-course menu. For $125++/person, guests are treated to a special tasting menu of seasonal farm-to-table cuisine, served in five courses while surrounded by roaring fireplaces, intimate candlelight and plenty of champagne.

For added exclusivity, guests can book one of three inns made exclusively available for private rental and add-on private chef service to prepare an elaborate NYE dinner served in the inn’s private dining area. They can also enjoy a transformative wellness journey at the new Spa at the Inns of Aurora, the resort’s new 15,000-sq-ft spa and healing center, with a thoughtfully curated menu of Ayurveda-inspired treatments.
The Crown – New York
The Crown, located atop Hotel 50 Bowery, is hosting a New Year’s Eve party as well. The unforgettable night of upbeat vibes will be powered by a live DJ playing from 9PM -2AM.

Irvington, located within the W Union Square, is hosting a three-course pre-fixe dinner, along with a complimentary champagne toast at midnight for New Year’s Eve this year.
The menu includes crispy lamb belly, filet mignon with caramelized pearl onions, and cauliflower steak romesco with roasted almonds and pomegranate seeds. All off the chef will be serving tiramisu and champagne sorbet.
Nearly Ninth – New York
Ring in the new year with Nearly Ninth, located within the Arlo Midtown with a DJ from 9PM to 1AM and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.

HAWAII
ESPACIO The Jewel of Waikiki – Honolulu
Hawaii’s $5,000/night boutique luxury hotel ESPACIO The Jewel of Waikiki’s New Year’s Eve celebration is bound to be extravagant. Together with its French-Japanese culinary counterpart, the resort will host three individual celebrations on New Year’s Eve.

A caviar and champagne toast will begin the evening on ESPACIO’s rooftop infinity pool deck at sunset ($199+) followed by 7- and 11-course tasting experiences ($499+ and $799+) by Mugen executive chef Jason Yamaguchi. Tastings include a flute of 1999 Cristal champagne, black and white truffles, and wine pairings from Mugen’s rare 500-bottle collection. Guests will have some of the best views of Honolulu’s annual midnight fireworks display, deployed directly across from the hotel on Waikiki Beach. Attendees will also enjoy a live DJ set and exclusive swag bag. Each event is limited to 22 guests.
Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club – Honolulu
Boogie into the new year 80’s style at The Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club’s NYE Studio 54 extravaganza. ARIZONA
ADERO Scottsdale – Scottsdale
ADERO Scottsdale is the only certified Dark Sky Zone resort in Arizona. Guests can enjoy champagne toasts from 2,500 feet above the Sonoran Desert in intimate globes overlooking Arizona’s famed McDowell Mountain Range. The seasonal globes – known as The Village at SkyTop – offer guests a private four-course meal featuring dishes like winter lobster bisque, pan-roasted wagyu, and chocolate terrine alongside festive cocktails. Globes are staged under the stars and feature plush interiors by local designer Robin Halperin.

CIELO, the resort’s second culinary concept, will offer additional options for New Year’s Eve and Day with an elevated vantage point of the dramatic desert landscape below. Menu items include organic chicken poulet, polenta cake with acorn risotto, Scottish salmon with braised turnips and wild mushroom arancini.
VIRGINIA
The Bristol Hotel – Bristol
The Bristol Hotel, the first boutique hotel in this Appalachian Mountain city, is housed within one of the city’s striking 1925 architectural landmarks (a former executive plaza).

This year, the hotel is hosting a NYE Gala in their ballroom with a DJ, light hors d’oeuvres and a champagne toast at midnight (tickets can be purchased here.) Guests staying at the hotel can also enjoy spectacular sights from the city’s only rooftop bar, Lumac Rooftop Bar and Appalachian cuisine at the hotel’s restaurant, Vivian’s Table, which recently revamped its dining concept to be an approachable take on the chophouse dining experience.
