More than 175 real estate professionals, community members, and prospective buyers enjoyed a first look at The Brooklyn Grove, which officially launched sales at the end of July. Located at 10 Nevins Street in Downtown Brooklyn, the 27-story, 184-residence building is being developed by Adam America Real Estate and Slate Property Group, and will feature interiors by ODA New York. The evening’s celebratory event took place in the newly opened sales gallery at 317 Schermerhorn Street, where attendees enjoyed cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres by Zizi Limona while previewing the new condominium’s kitchen and bath models, finishes, and building and amenity scale models. Halstead Property Development Marketing’s The Aguayo Team is handling exclusive marketing and sales for The Brooklyn Grove.
The Brooklyn Grove will add chic to the Downtown Brooklyn cityscape with its glazed brick exterior complemented by large windows featuring custom metal surrounds. Inspired by an arbor grove, the dual-level amenity area and spacious homes alike will evoke serenity and calm.
Intentional sightlines from Nevins Street to Grove Place will envelop a double-height (21-foot) lobby and enable dual entrances into the building. The space will be refined by a wooden beam ceiling and hand-plastered finished walls with slatted wood accents. Beyond the lobby, distinctive stones and burnished metals will decorate public spaces and light-filled residences alike.
Kitchens, that come with a full Bosch appliance package, will be decorated with custom rift oak cabinetry with antique brass hardware designed exclusively for the building by ODA. The concrete-hued Caesarstone countertops and island will be garnished with a Brazilian quartzite tile backsplash.
Master baths will feature two types of stone in a warm, neutral palette, including a composition of Santa Marina marble tile walls and Pietra Piasentina-like porcelain tile flooring. Two- and three-bedrooms will also have walk-in showers with glass enclosure. The space will also feature a rift oak vanity with marble countertop, Waterworks fixtures in polished nickel, and Laufen water closet. Secondary baths will be decorated with glazed white ceramic walls and grey porcelain tiling.
The residents of The Brooklyn Grove will be able to take advantage of numerous amenities that the building has to offer. A dual-level amenity area will include a 40-foot indoor swimming pool illuminated by a large skylight. A 3D-tiled wall will feature a triangulated sawtooth pattern while ceilings and columns will add lush texture. The residents lounge will feature a dramatic 22-foot ceilings, a gas fireplace that will be surrounded by floor-to-ceiling Arabescato Orobico marble, and a pool table and screening area. Other amenities include: a private dining room with functional kitchenette and lounge area; expansive fitness center; dedicated exercise studio; woodland-inspired children’s playroom; and 24-hour concierge are additional amenities and services for residents. A rooftop lounge will offer separate lounging and dining areas, barbecue grills, and a pergola.
A pet spa, package storage, and bicycle storage are also planned, and the bicycle storage will be accessible for easy commuting and storage. Indoor parking and private storage will be available for purchase.
The Brooklyn Grove includes 184 studio through three-bedroom residences. Studios range in size from 408 to 676 square feet and are priced from $575,000 to $875,000.
