Chanel released its new commercial movie Eau Vive, shot by renowned director and photographer Jean-Paul Goude, promoting the brand’s latest perfume Chance
If chance won’t come to you, you must find chance
Chanel Eau Vive mini-film depicts four of Chanel’s finest models Rianne Van Rompaey, Sigrid Agren, Cindy Bruna and Romy Schonberger go bowling at a Chanel-themed bowling alley. The daring young woman, ready to face any challenge, isn’t afraid to try her luck with the giant-size Chance Eau Vive bottles and scores a strike earning her place with the other three Chance girls.
In his campaign, the director Jean-Paul Goude highlights Gabrielle Chanel’s belief in the power of chance and has created an utterly delightful piece that is sure to bring a smile to face. The film reflects the fragrance, which puts a spin on the classic feminine Chanel Chance with its youthful, zesty note. The color palette of the ad and the sweet, candy-inspired style is completely on trend being representative of a sensibility honed not by eau de rose but pastel dragées and Barbie and the Secret Door dolls.
The team work of the outstanding perfumer Olivier Polge and Chanel’s Fragrance Laboratory, Chance Eau Vive is the latest addition to the fragrance line up. It is floral and zesty at the same time, with a kick of grapefruit-blood orange to give a serious zing, mixed with fresh jasmine, that softens the scent with a floral twist. The freshness makes it perfect for summer.
Chance Eau Vive will be available beginning June 12 as a 50ml bottle for $77 or a 100ml bottle for $97. It is already available at the Chanel Beauté store located at 382 rue Saint-Honoré in Paris.
