Italian yacht builder Tankoa has unveiled its new Linea Sportiva that was designed in collaboration with Florentine luxury superyacht designer Luca Dini. The first model in the new series is the Sportiva 55 rated at under 500GT that falls between a larger and smaller version.
The new Linea Sportiva is characterized by the generous Beach Club. It includes a swimming pool which is sunk into the terraced aft deck and has access to a Spa zone on the lower deck complete with gym and sauna, as well as a side-loading garage for water toys. The unique feature of this area is a large hull window that is partially underwater.
The 55-meter superyacht accommodates guests on the lower deck which consists of four ensuite cabins, with a five cabins version has already been designed. Also on the lower deck is the galley, while the crew accommodation is placed forward.
The main deck layout is asymmetrical with a circular dining area joining the open aft deck and main salon. The master stateroom features a built-in chaise longue and Jacuzzi as well as a private sauna.
A central staircase leads from the owner’s personal foredeck to the forward bridge deck which can double as an open-air cinema when at anchor. A 7-meter tender, crew tender and Sea-Doo are stowed on the open foredeck.
The bridge deck includes a sky lounge, an extendable table, and lounging space on the aft deck. The sun deck is partially shaded by the hardtop and features a wet bar by the forward hot tub.
With her steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the Sportiva 55 boasts a top speed of 16.5 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. Her range at an economic speed of 12 knots is 3,800nm.
