British automaker McLaren astounds with a Pure Electric Vehicle based on McLaren P1 and this open-top hypercar is something that your kids would truly appreciate. Just like the famous McLaren F1, the $485 vehicle boasts a central driving position and McLaren’s signature dihedral doors. McLaren wouldn’t be McLaren without its sticking acceleration, even when it comes to the toy car. The zero to maximum speed dash takes just two seconds.
Available in Volcano Yellow, the pure electric McLaren P1 can be activated via a one-button stop/start function that automatically turns the lights and “air-conditioning” unit on. The car is fitted with an MP3 player and audio system that are already pre-programmed with every popular nursery rhyme, a reverse gear in addition to its three speed, forward transmission.
Dubbed “The Ride On”, electric McLaren P1 is the first officially licensed product from McLaren Automotive to enter this growing market segment and is the most compact car yet to wear the McLaren badge. The toy car is suitable for clients between three and six years old to drive it. Although young drivers beyond this age group might also fit.
It will be available from the end of October first from selected McLaren Automotive retailers around the world, followed by recognised global toy retailers.
