Last week, The Solow Building Company officially launched sales for its highly anticipated residential tower, 685 First Avenue. The luxury condominium stands 43 stories above the East River and features a striking, multi-layered black glass facade. To celebrate this milestone, more than 150 brokers and guests previewed the development’s newly unveiled sales gallery, located at 300 East 42nd Street.
Situated on the ground floor, the expansive space has been meticulously designed to reflect 685 First Avenue’s elegant, light-filled interiors. As depicted in the sales gallery, a timeless combination of white, pale gray and earth tones will be complemented by refined surfaces of wood, stone and glass in each of the condominium’s 148 gracious residences to provide a welcome contrast to the building’s dark exterior.
685 First Avenue signifies Solow Building Company’s first condominium project to-date and company founder and CEO, Sheldon Solow, was also in attendance along with his son Stefan Soloviev, who has joined his father in the development of 685 First Avenue. Gary Malin, President of Citi Habitats, and Dukho Yeon, Associate Partner at Richard Meier & Partners Architects, provided brief remarks about the development, and its unparalleled level of quality and design.
