Diane Stuart and Joan Roca embarked on a captivating journey to Mexico City to immerse themselves in the Day of the Dead festival. Their encounters with globally acclaimed figures such as chef Elena Reygadas, curator Josefina Garcia, and farmer Luiz Perez have been artfully documented in a 30-minute documentary film. This film delves into the traditions, craftsmanship, and artistic nature of the festival, and provides a unique behind-the-scenes glimpse into the creation of Distil Your World Mexico.
Distil Your World Mexico is a sensory chef-d’oeuvre that reflects the energy, color, and spirit of the Day of the Dead celebration. Matured in a combination of meticulously selected American and European oak casks, this limited-edition release boasts a 100% natural color reminiscent of vibrant marigold. Its tasting notes include the enchanting flavors of sugared pan de muerto bread, creamy vanilla, and sweet pineapple, paying homage to the vibrant and diverse culinary traditions of Mexico.
