Saint Tuesday Bar at Walker Hotel Tribeca
Nestled in the sub cellar of the Walker Hotel Tribeca, Saint Tuesday invites guests to their Harridan Horror Story Halloween Party. On October 29th, the bar will be decked out in Horror Story decor from 7:00 – 11:00 p.m. and guests will have a chance to purchase General Admission tickets or get into the Halloween spirit with Harridan Horror Story cocktail experience tickets. The unique cocktail experience includes all the fun of GA with the addition of a bespoke cocktail designed for each guest in the party.
Happy Be at Walker Hotel Tribeca
Located on the rooftop of the Walker Hotel Tribeca, Happy Be invites guests to join the Halloween edition of their monthly Yappy Hour series. Locals and guests alike can celebrate the holiday with their pups with seasonal cocktails, services from Pet Valet and a doggy costume contest to round out the evening. Costume contest winners will receive gift certificates to online dog boutique, The Foggy Dog. Halloween Yappy Hour will take place on October 28, 4pm-7pm.
Society Cafe at Walker Hotel Greenwich Village
In honor of Halloween this year, Society Cafe will be offering a specialty creepy cocktail as their signature cocktail of the month. “The Walker Dead” features Espolon Blanco Tequila, Triple Sec, Lemon juice and pomegranate juice, perfectly red in color to go along with the festivities. The cafe also shared the recipe to replicate it at home:
- 1 oz Espolon Blanco Tequila
- 1 oz Triple Sec
- 1 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 oz Pomegranate Juice
Add all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and shake and strain into a coupe glass.
Gansevoort Meatpacking is an iconic hotel that has called New York City home for more than 15 years. Hosted by the Meatpacking BID, the hotel will be partaking in Treats in the Streets, a Meatpacking District Halloween neighborhood event. Trick-or-Treaters are invited to visit Gansevoort for candy, and during the festivities, grown-ups can stop at Gansevoort’s American Bistro, The Chester, or European-inspired cafe Coffee + Cocktails for festive Halloween deals and drinks to celebrate. Reservations can be made on OpenTable. After dining, head over to Little W 12th Street to enjoy the neighborhood’s doggy costume contest, where the grand prize is an overnight stay at Gansevoort Meatpacking for the pup and their human companion. Treats in the Streets will take place on October 22nd 11 am – 5 pm.
Gansevoort Rooftop at Gansevoort Meatpacking
Nestled riverside at the edge of Guerneville in Sonoma’s wine-rich Russian River Valley, Dawn Ranch is a cottage-style hotel and event venue. On Saturday, October 29 (4 pm – 6 pm), it will host a “Blood Tasting” in place of their normal Social Hour. The tasting will feature a selection of the finest “blood,” (aka red wine) from the hotel’s local winery partner, Arista. Additionally, Agriculture Public House will be celebrating the holiday by offering anyone who dresses up in costume 10% off their meal during dinner service.
Bar Marilou at Maison de la Luz
From Friday, October 28 through Monday, October 31, Bar Marilou will be hosting “The Witching Hour,” featuring a specialty Halloween menu with The Poison Apple (Brown butter calvados, burnt sugar syrup, angostura, salted caramel cotton candy spider web) and The Unreliable Narrator (Spanish vermouth, amontillado sherry, pomegranate, gummy skull) cocktails, and spookily delicious snacks like Frog Legs and Baked Casper. On Halloween only, DJ Delores Galore will play a set from 7 pm to 11 pm, for guests to enjoy a live music while having their treats from the bar.
